Hey Tia...
Amy emailed me or imed me rather and asked me to drop by and help you since REDKEN IS MY EXPERTISE... LOL.... The salon I work in now we use Matrix So color.... and color sync line.... and Mind you I feel the same way you do... The majority of my career has revolved around REDKEN!!! So anyhow what I use in the salon now that is high lift and double 40 jus like the blonding gels is the
UL series from So color ...
There is a UL-N (Ultra Light Neautral) and a UL-A (Ultra Light Ash) BOTH WORK AMAZING.... AND Are mixed the same way the blonding gels are with double 40 vol the only difference is it is creme color... which honestly I like the consistantly better....
but anyhow both of these the natral hair level must be a level 6 or higher for it to be affective ... I think UL-A Is the one you would use with a Level 6-7 and UL-N with a  natral level 7 or higher...
I have converted all my blonding gel clients to this product and they love the result of this actually better than the blonding gels... I have no idea why but whatever makes them happy and as long as their still satisfied with the result....
Amy can come behind me and make any other advice in using this particular series of Matrix... She knows Matrix a lil better than me lol and ME IT IS REDKEN I KNOW BETTER ... But honestly I have found that from working with it now.. I have been using Matrix since March of 2007 and so far been quiet impressed...
Try it and let us know how the result is... It will be beautiful and I know she will love it.....
I think the processing time is max.. 45 min.. But it kind of like bleach and blonding gels and just watch the hair and constantly check it to see where it is... rinse when reaches desired level but no more than 45 minutes...
Aight.. Have a great day hope that helps your dilema!!!
Lots of Love chica!
