And another thing that bugs me...I have been sick since Saturday with a sore throat. So what do I do? I go to the doctor today, my day off. The phone rang at around noon today. A co-worker wanted me to cover her shift so she could go to the dr today. Why couldn't she have gone yesterday? She's been sick for two weeks! I'm sick, but that doesn't matter. I managed to get to the dr on my day off. Why couldn't she go yesterday??? Oh I'm so mad. I dragged all evening! And people come in right up til the last second to get cuts too. I don't know about anyone else here, but I wouldn't go out for a haircut at 9 pm. We are crazy busy though, right up til closing time every single day, so there are lots and LOTS of people who don't feel the same way about it as I do. Tips sucked today too. This is the first time I've walked out of that place with less than $40!
Can you tell I'm in a cranky mood? I just want to go to bed. I think I will. :) Thanks for listening to me gripe. I think that this section of the group is going to come in very handy for me!!!

I know just what you're talking about! We have a few stylists here that call out when you need them most, then, you have to feel guilty when you get sick! It's also a very busy place where I work too, and you would think by now people would know not to come like 10 min before closing, and expect us to be happy to serve them. Like we don't have lives of our own too! As far as me wanting to get my hair cut at 9 pm, what I cant understand is what in the world are people thinking being up at such an ungodly hour like 9AM!!! Way too early for me, but there are always people lined up at that door first thing in the morning before the gates open! For god's sake sleep in for a day in your life! LOL! |
