What a day I had today! First, I came in, and had to open the shop myself because no one was there yet, one called out, the other came in late, which hardly ever happens, and a whole bunch of people were waiting. That's not that bad, but then, we have been having a problem with our washing machine, and certain instructions were given to us to work the machine until we could have it replaced. Well, my co-worker forgot to shut the water off halfway through the wash, and we were cutting hair, and I happened to look down, and see a flood of water piled up under my feet, I looked around, and the whole shop was flooded! Oh god, we didn't even see it coming. We finished our clients, closed the shop, and called maintenence. Maintenance comes in with an idea to sweep up the water with brooms and push it in the dustpans. We were helping them, and I decided to try to find a manager to lend us a wet vac, which would have been so much easier. Finding a manager in that store is nearly impossible. No one ever gave us a wet vac, and not one manager showed up. So here we are, sweeping up the water, and then throwing this sand like substance to soak up the rest of it, and then had to sweep up the sand. All the sand is not even gone right now, but we're off tomorrow, and the others could touch the place up. Well, that about wore me out!

Oh my! That's quite the day! That would exhaust anyone! Sounds like management at your salon really bites. Oh well, they will figure it all out when they open the salon in the morning. hahaha
