I like this site but I'm upset with the random spam I just recieved by way of this site...
This Morning I had written a response to "fired for not clocking out."
 
I have enough junk e-mail. So image my displeasure when with-in 2 hours I was spammed by Ellen Rutsate [[email protected]]
She is by no means being reccomended by me, I hate preditor spammers!!!
 
The topic of her e-mail to me was "fired for not clocking out", so I figured she had something to say about my reply to the "vent it here" post...
Nope, she was sending me links to sites she sells stuff on.
 
Has anyone else been spammed by this person???
How can we get Salon Talk to help us stop her from future spam?

Sorry, I have never gotten any spam or anything other than the new posts once a week or so.  Maybe up your spam blocker and see if that helps.

I have a very strict policy on spamming, and while I make an extra effort of screening pending members, some slip by. What I would like you to do if you've been spammed, is forward me the email, and I'll look into it. I clearly stated in the guidelines page, that spammer's membership will be canceled. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, and I'll be glad to help!

It's nothing to do with my spam blocker, Like I explained above,
It was The Ellen Lady, came onto this site, went into a vent it here post and grabbed my e-mail address then directly spammed me, v.s. professional bulk spamming. which I didn't make clear enough, no problem AMY took care of it.
 
Though I'd still like to know if she got anyone else here or just me...
