not this little booger. He was about 8. His dad proceeded to warn me he did not have his ridilin this am. So he was a little "excited". A little??? HA! He was wiggling and shaking his head and bouncing around. I very nicely asked him about 50 times to please sit still. Now remember i have 3 boys of my own, so wiggling kids is not normally a big deal to me. But this child was out of hand. Anyway i was cutting away and SNIP there goes the side of my finger. It was pretty bad and bleeding . I calmly went to the back bandaged my finger up and went back out. I nicely and with a smile said that if he didn't try to sit a little more still i couldn't finish the hair cut. I mean this kid was literally jumping around in the chair. The dad says to me.. " You just need to be more careful." WTF???? Careful?  OOOH i was soooo ticked off. But i smiled and finished the cut. He didn't even apologize or even tip me>>> GRRRRR.. I ended up with 3 frickin' stitches!!!

OMG, I hope your finger heals soon!!!!

The father probably doesn't normally take his child around, the mother must have been busy~

He knew what to expect by not giving the kid his medicine, which is neglect in itself, and probably has happend before...he should have rescheduled...regardless if your finger was cut.......

Sorry to hear that! I agree with Candy, he should have rescheduled. I mean honestly...is it always THAT important to get your kid's hair cut that day?  I hope you heal soon.

Why the heck did that child get his haircut without his meds???????

That dad is a tool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the record I never hide the fact that i have cut myself because some kid is bouncing around. I like for them to see the results of their actions.

I wont take on any new kids. They arent worth the effort or the trouble they cause

They knew my finger was cut ... trust me no hiding it LOL.  I have no idea why some one would bring in their child knowing they need their meds...sheesh!  I think you're right Candy, he probably doesn't take his son many places...
My fingers doing good... just stinks cuz i have to wear this thing on it so i don't get it wet or hair in it.

Sawatdee  ka ,   ( hello )
sorry to hear about your finger, i hope you heal soon.
Next time, if the child keeps acting up, tell them they need to reschedule. The child has no control over the way he acts because he's on medication, that was the fathers fault. he never should had expected you to be able to do a hair cut when the child did'nt take his meds. you did an excellant job keeping calm and finishing the service was amazing!!! GOOD JOB, sorry about your finger though. Heal soon!!!

Get liquid Bandage....I have used it so many times :O)

You wipe it on, and it seals your cut (temporarily, you have to reapply)  but definately helps, even if you have to put a band aid over it......... at least you can keep it from getting infected
