| That is so hard. I have so many ederly women that I do colors on who have no idea how current techniqes and products work. They ask me a million questions, doubt my ability, because to them, I'm young. During the whole process they're asking irrelevant questions. Sometimes, I feel like I could punch them in the face!!!!!!! Ha ha just kidding. Of course I wouldn't do that but wouldn't it feel good if you could? I just think of my grandma. I love her so much and as irritating as she can be I would want others to treat her like gold. So I nod and smile, bring them coffee and basically kiss a** up one side and down the other. Then when I'm out and about I give my business card to anyone and everyone under the age of 60. If those younger clients refer a friend they get a "50% off your next service" voucher. If the elderly ladies refer a friend they get a thank-you. |
