Wow! I'm currently going through something very similar here too. But that deserves a thread of it's own lol. I just haven't had the energy to type it out yet. I also, like you, don't want to sound like I hate the company I work for. Both are very profitable companies, and know what they're doing business wise at least. I think the problem with stylist retention has (somewhat) to do with their hours. It's just really hard finding women to work at least 2 nights who don't have kids, or can find or afford a full time baby sitter. It's sad really. I believe they can be very profitable jobs for us if we are willing to do the hard work involved and have the time too. I know how much you really do love the company, and it will get better again. These temporary setbacks will always happen along the way. |
