I charge the same to cut mens and womens hair. The difference comes when they want it styled...it costs more. If I use a fraction of colour for a man I charge less than a womans colour.

 

If someone is going to haggle on the cost they arent gonna tip very well either I presume. Tips do count ......I admit my big tippers get extra consideration.
