Yes the Brooklyn people, and said just so.......they are great for coming in and getting blow outs........I love doing blow-outs, I am still trying my best to be quicker, I am at 12-15 minutes now :O).......use to take 30-45 minutes. My best time, on shoulder length hair was 9 minutes, that's a workout!
Hi Karen.......I worked there in 2004 maybe it was 2005....I had short hair, funky colors, worn messy, I remember some clients would compliment my hair because they saw purple and dark reds in my hair, and it caught their attention I guess. I remember Mark told me not to get my hair done anymore by Kim, that actually I should go to you. NO offense, I had been going to Kim for 3-4 years at that time, and I was traumatized a long time ago, so I was really only comfortable going to Kim. The weekend came, I got my hair done, and then the next Tues-Wed Mark said I suddenly didn't have enough experience to work there, and I was fired. That was it.
I really felt that it was because my hair. I did enjoy my time there, I felt he's a great artist, and I learned alot even just by watching. I wish he would have saw past my hair insecurity.
