Anyone have this problem? The Vet found a lump under Piper's breast nipple. I changed Vet's recently found one who is better. Other vet just didn't seem caring enough. The new vet found this lump and Piper was just at the other vet about two month's ago, beats me why she didn't catch it.

He wants to remove it next month. We have to wait and get a certificate for spaying her. The vet told me about oasis anyone know about this organization? It's for low income.

http://www.oasisanimalsanctuary.org/ You pay according to the weight of your pet. I sent my application in plus $30.00 for a certificate to get the spay/neutering done for free. They go by your income.

I also spoke to someone today who is very knowledgable in pets and she said that if the lump moves around it isn't cancerous. If it doesn't move then it's a strong possibility it's cancerous. What get's me is why didn't the vet tell me that.  Piper's moves around,it is smaller than a pea.

So far she seems fine. Her surgery is set for the end of October.

Thanks for your reply.

We got our certificate from oasis and Piper is set for surgery the 21st of this month. I will let all know how it goes. I also asked the receptionist if she would mind if I came in the friday before to have her hold Piper and I will tell Piper I will be right back. I will then go outside and wait a couple minutes and come back in and pick up Piper to tell her see I told you I would be back. Sounds silly but I don't want Piper to think we were forever leaving her. We have never been separated from her since we adopted her.
