I don't have a scanner, so I cannot post old pictures of my cocker spaniel "Princess Peppermint Patty" aka Pepper...We got our solid black cocker in 1979 when my boys were 7 and 5. She had to be put to rest at the age of 15 in 1994. She was the light of my life, and my kids grew up with her. I also had a mixed breed dog named "Fluffy"... she was about 1 year older than Pepper. I had to have her put to rest at the same time I did Pepper at the age of 16. They were burried together. Oh those dogs were the light of my life, and it was most devistating to make the decision to let them go. I wish I could post pictures of my babies...but that was many years ago. Hope others will post here. Love to all, Doris |

I lost my Shih Tzu Oliver and my Maltese X Shih Tzu Tess within two months of each other last year .Tess was killed ( age 13 ) by my horrible next door neighbours child and Oliver died ( age 15 ) of a broken heart . I think they were meant to be together in death as they were in life . Always beautiful ,Sarah. |

I am posting this in memory of a little one that was actually the briefest of my relationships with furbabies. Her name is Sweet Pea, she was born to our MihLei on February 3rd in 2003. She was the most beautiful solid red with white cap, feet and tail tip., and just a tiny mite she was. The runt of the litter, she had serious feeding problems from day one....the milk came out her nose and she vomitted most she ate back up shortly after. But she fought so very hard to live that I lost my heart to her totally. I carried her around with me most of the day, and she cuddled, sleeping in my pocket at lot. She managed to stay with me for almost six weeks and then quietly slipped over to Rainbow Bridge. A piece of my heart went with her, and I look forward to seeing her sweet face once again when we are reunited there. |
