Hello Everyone,

This weekend I will be moving all of my packages and Unlimited Usage to Creative Image Licensing & Management (CILM). This means that I will have to implement some changes to license numbers you may already have when you purchased any packages from me or previously from GILD.

Please understand that I am aware of the ordeals that happen when an artist changes anything from what was previously established. I sincerely apologize for any confusion you might experience during this process. I will try and make this as clear as I can so that we can make this transition as clear and as instructional as possible.

Here are various instances and instructions that might appeal to you:

I am honoring GILD licenses including 3 Packers without any responsibility to purchase anything from CILM. If you purchased a license to use my artwork from GILD between December 2004 and December 2005 you are 'required' to receive a CILM license # to use my images. I am sorry for this inconvenience but because GILD no longer has any responsibility for my images - it has become mine. In order to receive a license # form CILM it does not cost anything if you are a previous GILD package holder of my images. All you need to do is write [email protected] in order to receive your new CILM license #. You will need your real name, address, (phone # - optional) and your e-mail address and your GILD license # to get your new number. There will be a deadline of June 30th, 2006 to get this done. After that your GILD license # is no longer valid and you need to discontinue use of my images. Again... this is simply because GILD no longer keeps track of my images - this is my responsibility and I don't expect any defense on my behalf from GILD. If you have a concern with having to receive a CILM license # for free by just a simple e-mail then perhaps you should discontinue use of my images altogether. I don't want to see GILD license #s on my images after June 30th. Again... this only has to do with GILD license holders of my image packs.

If you have already ordered from CILM and you are a GILD package holder you may use your new CILM # that you received with your CILM order on my images from GILD packages 1-4. For example... let's say your GILD license # is SD162D43F983 and your CILM # is CI0745LM - you would use CI0745LM on all GILD images of mine and toss the SD162D43F983 license #. If your GILD license # is in conjunction with any other artist please continue using that GILD # on any other artist or your new GILD # that is currently being distributed to you under the new GILD system. The only GILD images this effects are the ones that were Anthony Guerra images - not any other artist.

Use your CILM License # on all images of mine that are not in the Unlimited Database. Use your Unlimited User License # on all images contained in the database.

Please note that there is a record of what you can and can't use as far as my images are concerned. Please do o't use what you are not supposed to.

The bottom line is that starting today - if you are going to use my artwork you need a CILM license # or Unlimited Usage to do so. In order to receive a license # all you need to do is write CILM Customer Service for that number if you do not already have one. [email protected]

Your Real Name

Your Address

Your Phone # (Optional)

Your E-mail Address

Your Previous License #s

If you are already have a CILM license # then start using it on the images of mine you have purchased in the past.

If you are an Unlimited User I would advise that you go to the Unlimited Database and look at the list of images you are allowed to use up to this point. Make sure you apply your Unlimited Usage # when you create tags with images you are allowed to use. Otherwise use your CILM # on other images of mine you have purchased.

A Special Note to GILD License holders of my images:

I understand that there are some signature group members that don't want to have anything to do with CILM. If this is the case for you and you don't want to receive a CILM license # then that is perfectly fine BUT you are required to discontinue usage of my images after June 30th. 

If you do decide to receive a CILM license # please understand that you do not ever have to purchase anything from CILM in the future. This number is simply to keep your GILD purchase activated on behalf of my images. I am doing this to keep your GILD license for my images valid. The only thing that changes here is the number and your terms of use get slightly more lenient when you do so. http://www.creativeimagelicensing.com/tou.htm

This is also not an attempt to convert you to a "CILM loyalist". My wife and I aren't in the business of you changing sides. To us there are no sides. There are two great companies to get your images from and it is great to us that you just go through the appropriate measures to gain legal access to images you use in your groups. Whether you get them from GILD of through CILM doesn't matter. That choice is completely up to you. The issue at hand is MY images and the validity they have in your hands. It is imperative that take control of the usage of my image where a GILD license # is concerned. Those images are no longer GILD's responsibility and this changeover has to happen. I feel that I have generously given over 90 days to get this done and I know that I can depend on signature groups as a whole to help me out with this.

It is a sincere promise that license #s will never change on my behalf ever again. This is the final move.
