Can I use your art for tags, icons, tubes?
I get asked this a lot. My terms of use for non-profit signature tag groups are as follows: Signature tags and icons are fine. I don't give permission for my artwork to be used in tubes, stationary or as web graphics. I ask that you do not overly alter the colors of my artwork. Also If the image you use is ever licensed to a company for reproduction you may be asked to remove the artwork at that time. Please have (Link) and/or my name Laura Y Law visible on the image. About the tubing ...its fine to remove my background and add your own to create a tag or icon. I just don't want paint shop pro tubes with my images available for anyone to download and use because that leads to image abuse and its harder to control who has permission to use the images and what they do with them...someone who downloads a psp tube may take it and use it on stationary, as web graphics or clip art. *updated 06-jun-05* I've added a new gallery for work done for portrait adoption website. Please do NOT use any of the work in that gallery as the rights to use it on the internet belong only to the person who purchases the portrait.
Can I use your art for my website/rpg character/web set/etc?
No, sorry at this time I do not allow that.
