Ok, this one isn't actually asked, but I get so many emails addressed to 'Mr. Gerke' that I've begun to wonder whether 1. These people have even looked through the site or 2. I'm really that manly-looking. Hmmm. But yes, I am indeed female.
 

Can I use your art on my website or to make tag signatures/tubes/stationary?

YES!!! You don't need to email me to ask permission, I'm not testy about that like some artists. I don't have the time to reply to every one of you though (I get tons of these requests), and I hate the thought of sending out a form letter! So, read through the following, and THEN if you still have a question, go ahead and ask.

Here are the conditions: Link back to www.darienart.com, and list somewhere that I am the artist if you are displaying my work on your page. If you are making tags or tubes, please imbed the copyright information (Darien Gerke © 2004, www.darienart.com) in the graphic, and resize proportionally. DON'T do paint-overs, apply photoshop filters haphazardly, or polarize the image just for the heck of it. If you fancy adding tasteful animations, such as sparkles, water-ripples, blinking eyes, etc., that's fine too. Proud of what you've come up with? Please, show me what you've done! I would love to see what you've made. Just make sure you're virus-free and email me it.
***This all applies to non-profit work, of course. I get majorly peeved when people try to make money off pirated versions of my work. So don't do it, or I'll sic the legal system on ya!
