Image Usage Information

I often get many request from people wanting to use my artwork for this and for that.
Along with other emails, I often get swamped and run out of time to actually CREATE the artwork!
I've put together this list of requirements for people wanting to use my artwork in a few various ways. As long as you follow the instructions, you do not need to contact me to ask permission.

Guidelines for altering my work for the below uses-
For sigs, websites, graphics, email stationary, whatever, as long as you follow these altering guidelines and the terms of use below, you are allowed to use the images on this site.

Can I save your pictures to my computer just to look at myself?
Sure! Go for it. Just remember where you got them from and my terms of use and don't distribute them in any way.

Can I use one of your pictures for on my website?
If you want to use one of my pictures on your website, there are a few guidelines you will have to follow. Most pictures you will be able to use, except for those marked with "exclusive use", as someone else has bought the rights to be the only person to use it. To show one or more, of my artworks on your website please follow the following rules-
1. Save the image to YOUR server, do not link to the image at www.selinafenech.com as it steals my expensive bandwidth. It won't work anyway because of linking restrictions.
2. Do not alter the image except for proportional resizing. Do not remove the copyright banner.
3. When you put the image on your site, be sure that somewhere visible, on the same page as the image is some text saying "Artwork by Selina Fenech ©2005. www.selinafenech.com" linking to my website www.selinafenech.com.
4. The website must be suitable and not offensive or promoting offensive materials.

Can I use your artwork for my business logo, business card, business website?
For any business use of my artwork, I charge a flat $75.00 fee for use of an artwork. For this fee you will receive by email an image usage contract for your records and a print quality file of the artwork. This is for non sale-able, promotional items. Can we use your artwork for a non profit event, wedding, charity items?
Please contact me about these as usages differ.

Can I use your artwork to make Tubes?
ONLY for personal use (eg, to make further sigs/graphics from), not to be distributed in anyway (especially online). This is because once tubes are made and distributed, there is no way of people knowing where the art came from and how to use it properly.

Can I use your artwork to create signitures and websets?
I allow use of my artwork for websets, etc as long as it is NON PROFIT (ie, you are not selling the sets) and you follow the rules above. Please also make it clear to people using your sets they must also display credit to me as the artist. You can edit the image for these uses by cropping, feathering and resizing, but not distorting shape or colour. Also, for signitures, that my name and URL (Removed, special permission) are ON the sig image. If you are making websets, etc for distribution or you are part of a group using my art for sets, I ask if you can spare a dollar or two from your paypal account to donate for the usage of the work.
