Terms of Use

Artworks in the Sommerland Art Gallery may be used only in accordance with the terms listed below. Some artworks are prohibited from use as specified. Artwork remains the property of Donna Quinn at all times.

• Bandwidth stealing is not permitted. You must upload the image to your own server.
• Credit must always accompany the artwork. Acknowledge the artwork is by Donna Quinn, and place a link to the Sommerland homepage (http://sommerland.org) or the Sommerland art gallery (http://sommerland.org/artgallery). A "Credits" page is unacceptable unless it is easily accessed and clearly states where you got the artwork from.
• Artwork from this website is prohibited from use on websites promoting pornography, racism, violence, discrimination or illegal activities.

Artworks prohibited from use:

• Artworks that appear in the "Old Sommerland Art Gallery" page may not be used unless you have special permission. You may use the contact page for this purpose. Include the name/ filename of the work you are interested in, as well as what you intend to use it for, supplying a relevant URL if applicable.
• Any artwork that is currently in use for the Sommerland layout may not be used under any circumstances.
• "Nambroth and Eldarath" and "Ube" may not be used under any circumstances; these are character portraits and thus copyright for the character belongs to the creators.

Modification of artwork:

• You may shrink the artwork to whatever size you desire, provided the image retains its original proportions. When enlarged, artworks tend to look pixilated and messy, so this is best avoided. Under some circumstances, a small amount of enlarging does not affect the overall artwork, and this is permissible. You should use your own judgment when enlarging.
• Avatars: Artwork may be cropped for use as forum avatars.
• PSP tubes: Artwork may be feathered/ cropped for use as PSP tubes or signatures.
• Website logos: Permission must be granted via the contact page before use. Include the name/ filename of the artwork you are interested in, and the URL of your website.

Personal/ Commercial use:

• Artwork may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes, i.e. display on your website or download to your computer for personal viewing. If you are interested in using any of the art for commercial or profit-making purposes, please use the contact page to outline your idea/s.
