WE JUST FOUND OUT THIS MORNING THAT MY SON'S BEST FRIEND ( SINCE ELEMENTARY SCH) WAS IN AN ACCIDENT LAST NIGHT. HE HAS BROKEN HIS NECK !!!! I DON'T HAVE MUCH INFORMATION JUST THAT HE IS IN ICU AND IN BAD SHAPE THEY DON'T BELIEVE THAT HE WILL EVER WALK AGAIN. THIS YOUNG MAN IS A VERY SPECIAL PERSON IN OURS LIVES, HE IS ONLY 21!! MY SON WAS SUSPOSE TO GO WITH HIM LAST NIGHT BUT FOR SOME REASON HE CHANGED HIS MIND ( THANK YOU LORD ABOVE FOR YOUR GUIDING HAND!!!!) SO ALL THAT BELIEVE PLEASE SEND YOUR PRAYERS FOR TERRY HILL!!! I THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! TERI

That's terrible! I will certainly keep Terry in my thoughts and prayers. I can't imagine what he must be going through right now. Please let him know that we're all hoping for the best help and care he can possibly get!

HE IS NOT DOING VERY WELL RIGHT NOW, STILL IN ICU. HE HAS A BROKEN NECK, 3 CRUSHED VERTIBRA(SPELLING?) AND HAS SEVERED HIS SPINE. HE IS PARALLIZED FROM THE CHEST DOWN. HE STILL HAS THE USE OF HIS ARMS, HOW WELL I DON'T KNOW. MY SON WENT BACK TO WORK TODAY SO THAT IS A GOOD THING. HE NEEDS TO KEEP BUSY. I KNOW HE BLAMES HIMSELF AND WE ALL KNOW THAT IT ISN'T!!! GOD HAS A PLAN WHAT AND WHY I DON'T KNOW BUT TIME WILL TELL. I'LL LET YOU KNOW MORE AS I DO. PLEASE KEEP THE PRAYERS COMING!!!! GOD BLESS, TERI

It definately sounds like a very serious situation that has devastated everyone.

It's also extremely hard to not find blame in yourself if you feel that you had a part in the accident somehow, meaning your son, so I can imagine the grief he must be feeling right now. Accidents seem to happen for the strangest reasons, but I hope your son gets some counselling and continues to support his friend the best he can. He's going to need a lot of support from everyone and time will tell how he adapts to his situation. Know that I will continue to keep everyone there in my thoughts and prayers for a good outcome. I just thank God that they're alive!

I broke my neck in three places, and it all healed pretty well. I still have nerve damage and was paralized for about a year, but I did get better.

So I hope this friend does well also, just telling about myself so you can see that not all broken neck end up perment.

THANK YOU LIN LIN! I KNOW THAT EVERYDAY THEY COME UP WITH DIFFERENT THINGS TO HELP WITH THIS. WHAT SCARES ME MORE THAN HIS NECK IS THAT HE HAS SEVERED HIS SPINE! I didnt' realize that he had also severed his sping.

I am so sorry that he has to go back into ICU and had a track.

I am keeping him in my thoughts and prayers.

I know the pain of a broken neck, (in three places) but didn't sever my spinal cord.

Praying that he will improve, hopefully though he isn't in agony, I pray that they are giving him the correct pain meds.

Any updates Teri? Keeping you and yours in our prayers.
