I was taught that when there is a problem, everyone in the family pitches in to help out, no matter what their "position" or "rank" in the family.  When smilemom was mia, i pitched in..posting everyday, offering to help with chat, etc just to keep the boards and chat active.  When word came that msn is going to close groups, I started looking up other forums so smile would have a starting point to research and make some decisions.  I thought I was helping.  Then...WHAM.... i was told that some people felt i was stepping on toes, trying to take over for the bolds, trying to be a bold.  And here i was just trying to pitch in and help.  boy was i wrong.  I'm sorry to whom ever feels i was overstepping.  that was not my intent.  it won't ever happen again.

Hi Jackie,
Just a misunderstanding, I think. It's hard to interprete what's going on in the internet world compared to in "real life". I guess I've seen the scenario too many times on the net where miscommunication causes alot of issues. Out of respect for everyone involved I guess sometimes our good intentions come across as being too aggressive maybe or we don't have all of the facts, sometimes. We all interprete things differently. I think everyone is especially sensitive to a few things that have happened lately. We'll work through it, I'm sure. I think all I can say is that's it's best to not step on toes even though one's intentions are well meant, others can interprete it differently, which causes conflict and misunderstandings, I guess. I personally DON'T like gossip so whomever I am talking to directly should therefore keep it between the two parties intended unless it needs to be shared with the owner and moderators. The idea is to feel safe, but heard at the same time, without conflict occuring.
