Hi everybody,
I have spoken with smile and she suggestedd that I let everyone in the family know why I haven't been around. First of all to all the new people welcome and I can't wait to get to know you!
So much has happened in my life. The summer was very long my mother in law has lymphoma and we have been dealing with chemo and radiation. On Spetember 1st my Dad passed away. I have been dealing with a lot of issues with his passing. My step-mom is not a very nice person and didn't even call me to let me know that he died. I had to track down my Dad to find that 2 days after his death he was still in the hospital morgue. I was going to claim his body because step mom was not returning the hospitals calls. When I was taking my DPOA to the hospital she was sending a place over to cremate him without any funeral. I told the hospital that she could have his body, but that I wanted to see him for closure. I saw my Dad at the hospital and an elder from my church came and we prayed together. The only problem is my daughters did not have closure. All of my Dad's possesions are with the step mom. They have only been married a year, I have been taking care of my Dad for over 20 years. After I spoke with my Dad I couldn't get ahold of him because the phone either was disconnected or number changed. Sorry to vent but it feels good to let my family here know what I have been going through.
I also, have been dealing with some physical stuff. My Reynaud's is acting up, my EDS is effecting my ankle joint and I am in a brace, and my fibro has flared under all the stress.
My daughter Maria hurt her knee and has spent 2 weeks in a knee imbolizer. Her pain level has also increased, so we are dealing with that issue.
Bob's job is going great he keeps very busy working for Detroit EMS. Elizabeth started Jr high oh my what a difference that is.
Sorry this was so long but I wanted to touch base. I am going to try and be around more hopefully things will settle down.
