I am one of the people which did not have success with it.  I gave it what I felt was a fair amount of time...about 6 months.  My current physician tried to encourage me to attempt taking it again while bumping up the dose very slowly, but the side effects outweighed the benefits.  I am happy to hear it has worked well for some of you.  I am going to do a little digging, though to see if it affects diabetes at all, and how.  I'm now wondering if some of the sleepiness and dizziness I felt may have been due to that.  Perhaps now that I've been diagnosed and am on Metformin for it, the Lyrica's effects may not be as troublesome.  I was also taking it with Cymbalta, and the sedating effects of the two combined was probably too much for me, especially with working nights.  I'm kind of afraid to try it again, but I've heard quite a bit of input from both sides of the fence.  I will be looking forward to what others have to say, and wish those that are having success with it continued success, and those that have yet to try it, success as well.  HUGS, Betta Sue
