I had a short chat with a dear friend, we talked about what we would do if we were offered a medication, natural cure, whatever, that would totally get rid of all syptoms.  You would have no pain, no brain fog, none of the things we deal with everyday.  Nothing else came close to handling the problems but thisone thing.  The only draw back is it would, not might but would shorten your life by 5 to 10 years.  Would you take it?  If so why, if not why?

I would take it.  We have no idea how long we are going to live anyway.  The thought of living the next 5-10-20 years as I have lived the last 13 is very depressing.  To think that I could be pain free with strength and staminia to enjoy all the things that I have enjoyed in the past is very exciting.

I think our lives are being shortened now with all the side effects of the medications so many are taking.        Avey

I think I would take it too.  As Avey said we do not know how long we are here and I would most likely take it.  I would rather have fewer years here and be able to do things and enjoy life to its fullest.

I think I would take it--assuming my kids would be all grown and everything by the time I croaked.

I want to be able to make a difference in the world, and if being healthy can make that goal more reachable, I will trade a few years.

I would take it too :)  I would rather have few years of pain if I could have those fewer years being able to do the things Honey and I dreamed of doing before I got this wonderful thing called Fibro :)
