The doctor that has replaced Wonderful Doctor doesn't think a broken internal thermostat is a fibro problem :(  Plus other things that are 100% fibro.  I am so tired I really don't want to train him, especially since he doesn't want to be trained, but I feel I have to :(  Anyone want to try and explain to me why I don't have to :)  I believe that if I let this slide then I am actually hurting the next fibro person that comes to him.  I have the strenght and knowledge so do I need to train him?

The ? is...do you like him/her? If not than why bother. I have had better luck with younger docs and female ones...I think there should be a law that older docs should have to take refresher courses....
I've run into my share of docs who do not believe in fibro-CFS or any other "new" ish illness or syndrome....

They are teaching about our illnesses now in med school.....it should be a law that docs have to "go back to school" to get updated knowledge of illnesses/treatments....they all need to treat us and respect that we know our bodies and what we feel....

if the doc is willing to listen and work with you then maybe it will help to train them....my neuro always asks if I have read any new "stuff" yet he works for a center that will not allow him or his partners to give patients long term pain meds....it's too, I guess who do you trust??

sorry this is so long winded!           *H*&*P*     juls
