| I am so happy to announce our very first Member in Spotlight is AnotherChristine/Chris She has been a very wonderful member of our family for almost 2 years now :) She is always the first to give a hug or a prayer to everyone :) Chris is very much in love with her wonderful husband GrandpaBill :) So now here is my question for Chris :) What keeps you going on those days when it is hard to keep going? |

yes, i was going to do crafts. they were bracelets with names on them but nobody wanted any so i never did do any. just a few sample ones. but since volunteering i haven't had time to do them anyway. i think i put a picture of them under crafts on this site. thank you ladies. will check back later. hugs, chris |

hi jules, i'm back to answer your question about a memory or experience being married to grandpa bill. there is a lot of experiences but the one i like is about family. when our kids were small it was hard to get all of us together to spend the holiday at one house. my mother loved doing things with the kids so she started her christmas in july. it lasted for about 5 years. the first one she had outside. she had her tree decorated in the driveway and even had a full course turkey dinner. the newspaper and the tv station were there taking pictures. that was a fun year. she did different things for the next few years. the other one was taking the kids to an amusement park. it was called roseland park. in fact it closed after that year. grandpa bill worked for a school bus company so my mother rented the bus and he drove. it was fun too. that's my answer. sorry it took so long to get back. hugs, chris |

We are also supposed to tell what we know about Chris and I know that she is a very loving giving person who is always ready to help everyone :) She also has her own group on MSN because she is such a wonderful caring person :) I don't think she has ever told me no whenever I have asked her to help or do anything :) |

hi kathy, believe it or not i haven't fixed anything for them lately. when we still lived in the city we used to have supper with them on sundays but it was always something easy and my husband or my son usually fixed everything and we bought dessert. wish i could say i love to bake but i don't. our grandson is younger and we usually go out and eat. sorry about that question. during the summer we would take them across the street to the ice cream shop and get them ice cream. i can't remember the name of it but it has something to do with-you guessed it-the wizard of oz. i think it's oz cream or something like that. take care. hugs, chris |
