Wow I feel very special to be chosen for the spotlight. Thanks so much!!! Sorry I haven't been on sooner but have been sick since we got back for our vacation.

First off I would have to say my faith helps me to stay cheerful and positive most of the time.  Also the love of a wonderful family and great friends.  I have also been told I have my dad's wonderful sense of humor.

I have been married to my husband Pete for 21 years (we met on a blind date-so yes it really does happen)!!!
We have one daughter, Miranda, who will be 21 on November 25th. Wow I am starting to feel old.
My favorite actor is Joaquin Phoenix- he will be playing Johnny Cash in his new movie.
My trip to Florida was one of the most memorable trips ever. Our friends Mark and Donna are truely wonderful people and we had just a lovely time lounging by the pool playing dominoes. Very relaxing!!
Thanks for my questions and caring enough to get to know me better! Keep asking away.

I live in Racine, Wisconsin which is in the southeastern corner of the state. It is also about 30 minutes from the Illinois border. Racine is right on lake Michigan and when I was young we went swimming there alot. Now the water levels are almost always too contaminated. Which is very sad. We also have the four seasons here but the snow hasn't been bad since 1995 when we moved back.
I have had Fibro for quite a while but only been diagnosed about 7 years.
If I could live any where it would have to be Hawaii. We went to visit our friends there in 1999 and it was really hard to come back to Wisconsin!
to be cont.........

I used to do ceramics but it became hard for me to do them so I really can't say I have a hobby now.
In my spare time I like to read, garden, go to garage sales, swim, and go antiqueing. I also enjoy working on my house that was built in 1900. I recently repainted my front porch and trim.
As for grandkids no I don't have any. Miranda is our only child and she is in her junior year of college this year. Her major is chemistry and between that and her job in the biology lab it keeps her quite busy.
           Thanks for the great questions!!!

Wow alot of questions-
1. I like to read mystery and drama, and sometimes autobiography-depending on who it is.
2. My favorite sounds are laughter, the ocean, wind chimes and fire when it snaps and crackles.
3. My embarrassing thing happened when I was young and went to the next door neighbors house early in the morning, when everyone was still sleeping, walked into their house and woke everyone up! I had to stand in the corner for that!!
4. My silliest memory was when I dressed my beagle Sarge up in dress up clothes to play house.
5. I would go back to Hawaii for one day or a month or a year. I loved it there!!!
6. I would love to sit down with Amelia Erhardt-I think she lead a very interesting life and was a role model for young women.
Thanks Smile these took me down memory lane.

Niddy this is truly a whopper of a question. I had to think awhile before I could answer. I think if I could be a shoe that I would be a clog-not too dressy but not too causual either and they are comfortble. I had clogs when I was younger and I loved them. Thanks alot for your question!!
