Get to know the owners 
Jazzy-Hi! I am Jazzy! I am a female,I am 37 years old. I live in Farmington ,New Mexico. I am divorced and loving it. hehehe I have two children. Justin is my oldest, he is going to be 18 Oct. 30th. Mandi is 16. They are both very supportive of my fibro. I have had fibro for most of my life but only diagnosed for 5 years. I love cats, music, gardening,flowers,food,food,food...cooking,eating,food......I love the holidays. I have a great nephew that I talk alot about-so when I say "the baby" you all know now who that is. His name is Joseph and he will be two Nov. 30th. He keeps me grounded. When I am overwhelmed with how much this disease has taken from me I go get him and he stays the night with me and I am reminded of what is really important in life. It is love and family and babies in fuzzy jammas on my lap after a bath!!! This disease can not take any of that from me. I want you all to know I am here for you any time you need me. One-Hello! I am Jerry or One_in_Nine to most of you. Most all of my friends and coworkers call me JT. For some reason that is beyond me, Smiles has honored me with a manager position. I have no idea what I’m doing so it’s sort of fun. All of the neat people of the Family are the best part of being a member of the group. I was born in a small town in Ohio and live in Kentucky now. I’m an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. My wife Linda and I both have a son, Jay and Jason. We have two dogs, Hannah and Dalai, and a gray tabby named Edgar.
When I can, I like to do recreational prospecting and have always been a rock hound. I take lots of photographs and enjoy working in Paint Shop Pro.

Smile- Hi, I am Smile/Mother Hen/Debbie; I am 48 years old and happily married to Honey. We started this family because the group I was getting so much support from did not let “non’s�?in. So Smiling was born and we are an incredible family. I collect smileys, skinks, frogs, pics, and I am sure there is more. We have the world’s most wonderful dogs. We go camping but not as much as we would like. We also have a side business working with gemstones, geodes, petrified bone and wood, and more, we go to rock shows and sell our stuff for just enough money to pay for the space and buy more rocks. I love asking questions and being asked questions.

This guy goes to a pet shop to buy a parrot. There he sees a parrot with a red string tied to its left leg and a green string tied to it's right leg. He asks the owner the significance of the strings.
"Well, this is a highly trained parrot. If you pull the red string he speaks French; if you pull the green string he speaks German," replies the shop keeper.
"And what happens if I pull both the strings?" our curious shopper inquires.
"I fall off my perch you fool!!" screeches the parrot.

Need More Storage Space in the Garage? Utilize the air space. Hang a hammock up there to store light items, such as holiday decorations or seasonal items. This will work in your children's rooms, too, for teddy bears or other items.

Memories in the Shower
There are times when certain things come from memory that I wish would not. They are memories of things that reoccur to us on a fairly regular basis. One of them happened to me again just the other day.
I got into the shower for a leisurely, long and very warm bath. I have a regular routine that includes a lot of just soaking up the warmth. The water was washing away the stress and easing some of the aches and pain. My eyes were closed and the warm water was flowing over my head and body. My thoughts turned to an old movie scene that I had seen that day on TV. The actress, who played in the movie, had passed on and so was in the news.
The movie scene always brings a little bile into my throat and fear into the pit of my stomach. I moved so that the water wasn’t in my eyes, As I opened my eyes and the water cleared from them, I saw the shadow of the bathroom door open on the shower curtain. The little hairs on my neck immediately stood up and adrenalin rushed thru my veins. My mind flashed to the scene from “Physco�?with the long knife silhouetted on the curtain. Standing as far back in the shower as I could, I pulled the curtain back enough to see out. Lying there on the bath mat was Hannah and Dalai smiling at me and wagging their tails.

Apple Cake Recipe
4 cups sliced apples
2 eggs
Put sliced apples in a large bowl, break eggs over them and stir with a fork
Blend Together:
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1tsp baking soda
1 1/2tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
sift over apples mixture, stir well
Add:
1/2 cup oil
1tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Stir well and bake in 9X13 pan at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
