Well....you really don't want me to tell you, do you???? LOL!

The worst thing that happened to me this week was when I was coming home from seeing my daughter on Sunday. I was coming down the skytrain stairs and lost my footing and went flying! Apparently, I scream pretty well when I'm falling, too...Just ask the guy that came running up to me to see if I was ok or not! LOL!  

Luckily, I didn't hit my head, but I did end up landing on both knees pretty hard at the bottom. I think I tried to see if I could "leap" the rest the stairs once I realized I was going to fall to see if I could land on my feet like a cat! ROFL! Anyway...I haven't been too active for the last few days and my knees hurt like he**!!! I also twisted my right ankle a bit so I'm still hobbling around slightly. I got heck for not put ice on it from my brother....I hate ice!!! There's a bit of inflammation going on in the knees but otherwise I'm not too bad, other than still feeling a bit sore and stiff. My doctor wasn't in this week since he's only in on weekends, that is when he decides to show up...he's retiring. So...I've been waiting to see how things go and then get in to see him for a checkup just to make sure everything is healing ok.

That was my worst scenario...My "other" worst scenario was not being able to get a hold of my "x" when it was time for my visit with my daughter to be over. He was supposed to pick her up but she couldn't reach him on her cell. I tried phoning, too, and didn't get any answer and since they just moved on the 1st of the month, I didn't know their address yet! My daughter couldn't remember it, either! Good grief! Anyway, she insisted that she would be ok by herself downtown until she could reach her Dad. I had to hop back on a bus to catch a ferry so I worried ALL THE WAY HOME! I told her to phone me as soon as her Dad picked her up but I guess she forgot. So....I ended up phoning her when I got in from the ferry just to make sure things were ok. They met up ok and went out for dinner afterwards. I'm STILL waiting to find out their address and they don't have internet yet, either...."X"s...ya either love em or hate em! LOL!
