We laugh, we joke, we tease and play,
We even shed some tears,
We listen with our hearts,
We share our hopes and fears.
Many times you've rescued me
From a long and troubled day;
Just being there and hearing
What I had to say.
You'd never sit in judgement
Or cause me ever to feel
That my worries and concerns
Were not important or real.
No matter what the need may be-
