OK here is my question, a most of you know I don't have many good days. Well now I am having more bad days again. I am wondering if any of you know how to tell the difference between meds not working and a flare, besides just waiting to see if it passes. Any info will help :)

All I know is that if it is a flare no amount of pain medications will help. Nothing helps for the pain at all - then you know it is a flare unless you and your doctor has discovered a Miracle Pain reliever??? Please cue me in on it.

Well, I have not had meds that worked since 2001, or there about, since I smile all the time the dr didn't believe I was really in a lot of pain. BUT finally after all this time I finally got to a pain dr and he is actually helping me :) He gave me a patch that finally helps so I am able to tell the difference now. Before I always had too much pain to be able to tell the differences. Not sure this helps you but it did me :) If you want the name let me know :)
