If you had a chance to go back in time to when your fibro started and make it so you never had it, would you? To clarify, a chance to have never had fibro.

I woud love to go back.  Then I could enjoy all the outdoor activities.  Taking care of my yard, garden and flower beds.  Camping with my sons when they went hunting to be the camp cook.  Cooking dinners for the family.  Sitting for hours playing cribbage or scrabble.   Avaril

Would I go back and change having fibro....I don't think so.  I have learned so much, yes my life is totally different.  But, I don't think there is much I would change.  It is really strange when it first started I would probably said yes but now...I think I would change nothing.

What are your thoughts on this question???

I would have to say that I would not go back and change it.  I have learned so much about myself through life experience.  Yes it would be great to be pain free.  But I keep going, and thank God for everyday He has given me and ask Him to help get me through that day and be able to handle whatever may come my way.  I have found through my life experiences a strength that I never knew I had.

I would definitely decide NOT to have fibromyalgia...the only good thing that it has done is to make me decide that as long as I can function , I will.  I may not have any choice in how bad my condition may become, but I am determined not to be an invalid before I truly am;  I am also determined to allot time to the things I love to do because I may not be physically able to do them"when I have the time".

I wouldn't give up my CP. It's molded me into the person I am:

A fighter
Copassionate
Spunky
Ornery
Imaginative
Patient
Impathetic

Plus, it's allowed me to help others in ways that I'm still learning about.

This is a trick ??  ....I'd love to never have fibro for the obvioius reasons...but then I would never have made  it here--never to make these friends and I don't know if I'd fully appreciate the things that have happened since....nor am I sure that I wouldn't take things for granted.....             *H*&*P*                 juls
