Hi Sara,
I like to use aromatherapy quite a bit. Finding a right "scent" helps to relax.
I also like to use a TENS unit which can be purchased at Medical stores.
I use candles alot to help me to relax, as well, along with the right type of music, then you can basically meditate. Practice breathing deeply and slowly and focusing on a nice picture, either on your wall or in your mind. I take frequent holidays in my mind to places like Hawaii and places like that. LOL! Tapes that you can buy at stores also have ocean sounds or other relaxing type music which helps alot. Laying down with a warm cloth over your face is relaxing, as well, or even with a hot water bottle. Remember to gently do your stretches and DON'T overdo it. If I can think of anything else then I'll let you know!
