Spicy Picnic Pasties

Pastry:

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ cup butter or margarine

½ teaspoon salt

6-7 tablespoons milk

Filling:

¾ pound ground beef

2 tablespoons chopped onion

1 tablespoon chopped green pepper

1-2 tablespoons chopped celery

¼ teaspoon ground cumin

¼ to ½ teaspoons chili powder

½ teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons barbecue sauce

Combine pastry ingredients as for piecrust, adding more milk if necessary to make dough. Divide the dough into four parts. Roll each part thin and cut into a 6-in. circle, using a small plate as a guide. Combine filling ingredients. Place a fourth of filling in center of each dough circle; pat filling down lightly. Moisten edges of dough with water; fold circle in half to make a turnover. Seal edges well with a fork. Prick top to allow steam to escape; place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for about 40 mi8nutets. Serve hot or cold with barbecue sauce or ketchup to dip them in
