Hi Girls,
Barbara is thinking about having a coffee morning soon. Last time it was on a Saturday and we know that was awkward for some girls, so this time it'll be during the week.
The date hasn't been fixed yet, although it's likely to be in the next couple of weeks. We'd like to know what the likely interest would be, so please let us know if you'd be interested incoming along.

I would love to attend the coffee morning next Friday if at all possible. I am one of those who has not been able to attend before as it has been on a Saturday.
I would need directions and probably would need to change there.
It would be lovely to meet old friends and especially Barbara again

Thank you so much for the information and I am certainly going to do my best to attend. I have already put it in my diary and I am going to do my utmost to keep the date clear.
I understand it is from 10am until 12 noon. but please correct me if I am wrong.
I take it that if I need to arrive a little earlier to get change I must organise this with Barbara.
I am truly looking forward to it as I rarely get the opportunity these days to dress and relax.

Hi Nikki
I am afraid it does not look as if I am going to be able to make Babara's Coffee Morning tomorrow. I am exceptionally busy at work and indeed did three, long 3 hour surveys today not finishing until 8 p.m. Tomorrow I now have to prepare the reports and get them off before the weekend if I can.
I am not best pleased as I am one of those who complained that the coffee mornings were not held on a weekday when I could probably get away and attend.
Please convey my sincere apologies to Barbara and please, please do not give up on the idea of a weekday coffee morning as I do truly want to attend and meet Barbara again and some of the girls.

Hi Girls,
Just a quick word of thanks to Barbara for hosting another super coffee morning. The sun was out so we ended up out in the garden where I found that I could once again sit out in the sun (these wigs are useful!)
Thanks to all who came, Josie and Jen, Claire T, Claire, Caroline, Patti, Stephenie and Amanda Jane.
Thanks to Steph and Amanda for their kind donations of raffle prizes. I hope that the chocs helped Caroline in what seemed to be a necessary appeasement. But also, thanks to the generous contributions from the girls buying the tickets ... the parish nurses should have a nice surprise!

Once again I would like to add my name to the list of participants although obviously work may get in the way again!
I will do my best as I would love to see Barbara again and would love to meet some of the other girls.
I am away on holiday and business from the 27th to 30th July and again from the 8th - 11th August and the 13th - 25th August
