Social acceptance of alternative life styles, whether sexuality-orientated or gender-orientated  is growing. But there are still people who feel they can only hate us for what we are. East Kent has a freephone contact line to report incidents of transphobia and homophobia, so if you live in that area and you have felt subjected to such abuse you can report it. If more is known about such incidents, perhaps more will be done to address real antisocial behaviour - hate and intolerance.
