That one got deleted because I was distracted ... here's how it should have read -
Hi,
You may have noticed that threads have disappeared.
It seems that Caroline has taken umbrage at the suggestion that she used 'rather complex vocabulary' and has left the site.
She did inform me of her intention to simply not come here any more, so as to leave her messages and threads intact. She clearly changed her mind which is a shame as the contributions she and others made were interesting and they have all been wiped out with a single keystroke.
I should like for us to continue to have discussions about more 'serious' topics, but let us avoid the fool's gold of arcane forms of language.

Hi Nikki ! I had to look up 'arcane' which said, 'esoteric' so, I looked that up which said, 'abstruse' so, I looked that up which said, 'difficult to understand' so, if that's a new game, can I play please !! Have to use smaal words though becooz I cant psell . Love to all . Xx Josie |

Hi Nikki Yes it is a shame that Caroline's threads have disappeared as they were interesting, a number were quite current and would no doubt have continued ~ she was certainly very well read (as you are!), it is sad she felt the need to leave. Still I wish her well. Every newsgroup needs a bit of inspiration, someone to provide new threads, to trigger others into making a response or to start different ones and in the short time she was with us she was pretty successful in that. I know she is well intentioned and we are all different so there is no point in crying over spilt milk, but I am surprised an individual has the capability to delete an entire thread. Oh well can't be helped. Come girls, lets get our thinking caps on....who's going to start our next thread? Some of our new members perhaps? Love to all TinaCortina xx |

Hi Girls,
it is a shame that the correspondence all went. I do not understand why she left.
Perhaps it was because far from getting no answer she got some but from people with their own view point.
That's what is good about this site we can make considered comments and be grown up about it.
I think she is a loss to the group though I did not agree with everything she said.
