Yvone,

I had certain concerns with your message, in it being a 'soft' approach to seeking to make contact. We do not encourage people to use the site solely for such purposes - there are plenty of contact sites.

Your post is also concerned with an aspect of 'cross-dressing' which does not comprise our mainstream. That said, we have nearly a 1000 members, the vast majority of whom have never posted on any subject and, perhaps, there is a substantial silent membership that is more interested in the sexual aspect of crossdressing than what we might describe as the transgender aspect. In the end, I felt it was a sensible post that deserved space to discuss the generalities of the subject.

I have to say that while I think I understand what you are trying to describe, it dwells in the land of make-believe and fetishistic enhancement of sexual experience. That is not meant judgementally - I dwell in the land of make believe when I make up and dress and the fetishistic enhancement of the sexual experience is not uncommon - the is much literature on it. You simply wish to combine the two. However, I think you may be mistaken in thinking that 'making love' in any romantic sense would truly ensue. I can't see that there would be any substantive difference to, say ... two gay rubber fetishists enjoying each others company.

Anyway, as Caroline has said - there are more appropriate sites than this through which to seek such an experience. - good luck.

Some of the comments in this thread are very interesting and in answer to the original question, what happened in a previous life if I had one doesn't really matter.
Dressing and standing in front of a mirror en-femme or in drab is a tool to check yourself. As a teenager going to the disco that tool was obligatory, to check my sexual attractiveness before chatting up the girls.
When dressed en-femme I am checking my appearance conforms to an acceptable standard of femininity.
I often feel women dress for women in a competitive manner so as not to be the ugly duckling so why shouldn't I.
I have bookmarked your compendium Caroline and will have a read over the next week or so, a little at a time. Thanks in advance.

Regards Bobbie
