***Coming up this Sunday at the SEF pay per view Deadly Destruction, the long-running rivalry between former friends Matt Matlock & The Jackal will come to a head. The two will face each other in the first ever Downtown Detroit Street Fight. This match promises to be something to remember, and with SEF owner Daddy Mack as the referee, who knows what will happen. But what does Jackal have to say about all this?***

***We open up on Monday December 22nd. We are inside of Jackal’s home. As it has been many times before, his living room is filled with camera equipment. Christine is nowhere to be seen. But on the couch sits Jackal & Tony Shiavone, A cameraman waves his hands and counts "5???…go".***

Tony:
Hello there fans of SEF. This is Tony Shiavone with a special interview. We are in St. John’s Newfoundland, at the home of superstar The Jackal.

Jackal: Welcome Tony.

Tony: Thank you for letting us have this interview here. Now, this first part of the interview is mainly concerning one thing. Your match with your former friend and tag partner, Chief Matt. Now, the main question I want to ask, is why do you think Matt turned on you?

Jackal: To be honest Tony, I have no idea. I told Matt that I wanted to take time off to be with Christine. I knew I had that world title match, but my family was more important. And besides. That match was mainly between Strife & Red Static.

Tony: From the way it sounds, that is the reason Matt turned on you. He seems to believe that your weak because you put your family before a world title shot.

Jackal: I see why he would think that. He has no kids, no wife. All he does is go around fucking everything with a set of tits and a pussy between its legs. It’s a wonder the perverted little shit hasn’t got any STDs.

Tony: Have you lost respect for him?

Jackal: ?No. I haven’t. Despite all this bullshit that he’s pulling, I still have respect for him. He is a tremendous athlete, and a hard worker. He taught me mostly everything I know, and over the past year has become closer to me then a brother. But at the moment, that respect..that friendship, is overshadowed by other emotions.

Tony: What emotions are those?

Jackal: Anger. Hatred. Feelings of betrayal. Because as much respect as I have for Matt, right now I want to rip his guts out.

Tony: I don’t blame you. But look at what is at stake in this match. Besides pride, bragging rights, whatever you want to call them. The winner also has the chance to go on to the X-Cage main event. It’s a shot at becoming SEF’s first ever Undisupted Champion. It’s a chance to become immortalized in the history books. What does that mean to you?

Jackal: What does it mean to me? That is a rather stupid question to ask. What do you think it means to me? Matt isn’t the only one who doubts my ability. I’ve heard fans, and I’ve heard people in the back. There are quite a few people who don’t think I’m capable of taking that last step. They don’t think I’m able to even get into the X-Cage. But the fact that I have to defeat Matt to even get into the match, pushes me more. It makes the fire of desire inside of me burn hotter then the flames of hell!

Tony: Well.…I would say your pretty fired up. But the match is one week away from now.

Jackal: That doesn?t matter. Every day, I think the match is tomorrow. And I prepare my body and my mind. And then when the time comes, I’ll be more then ready. And Matt won’t know what hit him.

Tony: What do you think of this style of match anyway? Do you have any idea of what to expect?

Jackal: None. But Mack said that he is going to make us earn our way into the X-Cage. I know he’ll make it so that we bleed, that we sweat, and we hurt. I’m looking forward to it.

Tony: Well thank you very much for your time Jackal. And good luck this Sunday.

Jackal:
Save your luck, and send it to Matt. He’ll need it more.

***The two men remain sitting, as we fade to black.***
