One week after last weeks abruptly cancelled pay per view Snake Eyes, just today, a few hours ago in a long meeting at SEF headquarters Richard Marret came to a conclusion to close SEF. The meeting was behind closed doors of course and no one knows what went on, just that Ric and the board of directors spent hours in there. Afterwards Richard made a public announcement and closed his company. As for why it closed, many speculate the real reason, but Ric said this, "We've been dragging SEF out for a while, the circuit has been dead for years and is no place for this company. SEF rose to the top and showed them all, especially the circle companies like W2K, PWT, and BUD and a few more, that SEF beat them out and was number one for its existence, we owned them all! I don't like this, but there is no reason to keep a company open when wrestling on the circuit is dead. I tried reviving it with SEF, but I could not, so I have given up, I admit it, I failed to keep the circuit alive, I failed to bring it back, but SEF did not fail. The company was a great success and we did what no other company from the circuit could do, we were the closest to mainstream there was, but now its no more, SEF is closed, sorry to all the fans, but I can't keep it going, thank you all for support and good day, again I am sorry." And so SEF is now done, its closed, but all the fans can check out some of its history on the website which will continue to exist even though SEF will not. Its a shocker, surprising, but understandable, so this will be the last update, SEF is closed. |
