I've never heard of Blues Hog. But, I don't have any problem with sweet barbecue sauce, in fact I prefer it. I love the brown sugar-based or honey-based sauces. The local restaurant we go to for barbecue, Harmon's in Cibolo, Texas, uses a honey-based sauce that is to die for.
My favorite bottled sauce is Sweet Baby Ray's, and I keep a bottle on hand at all times (never know when you'll have a barbecue emergency). It's very yummy on chicken or beef (haven't tried it on pork yet).
