This will be his fifth time, and no one is yet to buy the beast. Fear, Disgust, Resentment for its kind... all reasons that he's heard for why Zarlen was un-buyable. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we have before you a creature that's making its fifth appearance on this stage! Might there be someone in this crowed that's interested enough in him... we'll soon find out... Guards!" He cried out, summoning the creature forth. Slowly the curtains in the back parted and out stepped Zarlen, bound in chains and shackles. A large metal band was wrapped around his chest, wrists, abdomen, thighs and ankles. To each band was attached a thick hunk of chain, which glowed a very soft blue. There was only enough chain to allow him one foot steps at a time, his arms had very little reach. Six guards stood buy him, each with glaives and four of them holding onto chains that were attached to Zarlens collar. They looked about the crowd to show them they had it under control, each guards helmet hiding their sweating faces. For some reason this creature had the ability to cause fear to any and all those he looked at, finding their worst fantasy and playing it out in their minds. His gaze focusing of them and possibly bring them to their knees. But he'd not caused any problems so far today, only walked to the stage and now stood there. "Look at this impressive Beast! Captured alive in the Underdark, land of the Drow and other fierce creatures. Clearly he knows how to survive in battle, or is smart enough to avoid it all together." The Auctioneer made sure to stand a good twenty feet away from him at all times. "This creature is capable of amazing things! His cunning is impressive and has broken the spirit of any creature that's tried to talk to it. If you want a monster of a guard, possibly the best assassin known to man, or just something to set your men straight. Here it is!" He pointed to Zarlen and waved his arms upward in an impressive show. There were many things about this beast that he didn't say, he'd wait for the owner to find out what he could do. "We'll start the bidding at a simple 20,000! Who's brave enough to take this creature into his or her home? Who dares enter the unknown..." At that the Auctioneer stopped talking and nodded to the guards. The two guards behind him pushed the blades of their glaives into him, cutting his flesh. This was the sign to move forward, and so he did. Zarlen took eight steps forward, now in perfect view of the crowd. Anyone who was watching carefully would see the two cuts on his back heal at an amazing rate, and that there was no blood on him or the guards weapons.

From: Đặŗ?shy;Ρåŋŧћєσň | Sent: 7/6/2006 2:41 PM | "Ahhh," the Auctioneer looked over to the beautiful young lady. "So you'd like to take a hand and taming such a beast? Good for you dear." He said directly to her before looking over the crowd. "You heard the bet! 66,600 for it! Is there anyone who's willing to raise the stakes? This creature is so far the only of its kind, a rare treat..." He left it at this, pleased that he even got one vote for the creature. If no one was to buy him this go around, he'd be put to death. They had a hard enough time feeding and clothing it, let alone keeping him from killing the guards. Zarlen only stood there, looking around like the female who bid on him wasn't worth his time to look at. There wasn't very many interesting people in the crowd. Snarling he shook his chain, just to give the guards something to straighten up about. One even pushed his glaive closer to warn him not to do that. Seconds later the blade of the glaive fell to the ground, the guard now holding a broken stick. Zarlen growled and stood still once more, pleased to have upset the balance.

From: §ΐממếđ_₣Ωяىąкэמ | Sent: 7/6/2006 11:12 PM | | | | | Devlin Vindictious was making his rounds.... He stopped at one.... Eyeing the slave.... Not quite impressed.... Unfortunately.... The spider queen would've loved this one.... for her own sardonicly carnal uses.... But... he had advised her against this one... She had indeed been sulky.... But eventually agreed... Devlin was amused to see the demoness Moragana yet again... But he would give the auctioneer a curt nod, a certain look.... Quite flustered... The auctioner's voice boomed out, "Sold! For 66,600! Please proceed to the side to pay for your slave and to sign and get the owner's papers.... Your slave should be waiting in the back room with the guards.... Next specimen please!" Devlin smirked, shaking his head.... before disappearing in swirl of mists..... Ooc: Owners: Please add the name of the slave and deduct the funds from your profile. Slaves: Please add how much you sold for as well as the owner's name on your profile... Thank you.
