ariel sighed softly as she waas taken up on the staage.She waaas to be sold again.Her emerald eyes were dull with pain ,hunger and exhaustion. It seemed no one wanted her .She was a lovely young woman and made a very good pet,but well she was not what one expected.

     The auctioneer started his speil.Ladis and gents I have here a rarity forsure.An averial,that is a winged elf,up for bid.She is young and healthy ...makes a great conversation piece.Look at her Wings are perfect and her face that of an angel.The sweetest tmeperment one could want.She can sing and perform minor illusion magic.

    Come she will be a grand addition to any wealthy home what shall we start the bidding at?How about 100 gold pieces?

when she heard the auctioneer. Would she

offer the bid or keep going? The poor creature

didn’t look happy to say the lest and Zandra

had a soft heart then it can to that. She walked

over and smile to her and raised her hand �?00 gold�?/FONT>

she voice sweet as angel and seductive as a siren.

She brushed her raven hair out of her eyes and

awaited to see how it will end.

   Ariel looked up at the lady bidding.she seemed nice enough and hopefully kind.Ariel smiled shyly at her then looked away as the auctioneer pulled hard on her chain."Eyes to the floor freak."

Ethan strode forward into the light he had been hiding in the shadows leaning against a black brick wall he was easily visible mainly because of his enormous height not to mention his bright red hair. He approached the block and stared up at the magnificant winged creature before him he shouted to the auctioneer "500 gold! for this one" he knew he was standing relatively close to the previous bidder just 10 metres infact.

Peeking up once more Ariel saw the man who bid on her.His tall stature was a bit daunting ,yet he did not look particularly mean.She looked down quickly so the man selling her would not jerk on her chain again.

As the girl before him looked up he caught her eyes and was mesmerized by them he smiled softly, then turned his soft gaze to a strong stare right at the auctioneer himself he saw the anger on the mans face and spoke up "My dear sir i bid you not but it would please me greatly if you were to be more gentle on such a magnificant peice of art, should you yank those chains on this beauty again i shall see to it that you will be punished for your acts of punishment when she has clearly down nothing wrong!" Ethans voice was strong and stern and when he had finished he turned his eyes back to the creature before him.

The auctioneer galred at the man ,buthe did lossen his hold on the chain.He had no wish to be punished .Ariel looked back up and smiled shyly to the man and a soft voice came to him from with in his mind."Thank you my lord for your kindness."the message short yet full of feeling.

Ethan listened to the voice and as he did so he bowed his head and shut his eyes. He then glanced sideways to see if the other bidder would try and out do his bid.
