It is positively paramount that a detailed illustration of rules & guidelines be provided to all of our players who elect to participate in our role-play chat room activities. This is specifically dedicated to making everyone who chooses to participate, fully aware & completely knowledgeable of what we, as a RP community, expect you to comply with completely. There can no longer be any fathomable excuse or reasoning to deviate from these rules nor will any claims of ignorance be accepted. The reason for this is because this page is mandatory reading for any who elect to participate. Mandatory in order to maintain order, decorum, concentration on your game play & overall mutual enjoyment for everyone involved. They are followed to the letter and will be explicitly enforced and go as follows.

Hammer hosts (Both Gold & Copper) are specifically chosen and idealistically selected by the owners & proprietors of the community. They are not to be altered, second guessed, ignored or taken upon others to deviate from that which is already decided on. This means that if you are not previously selected to host, you may not ask for a hammer under any circumstances. That includes such times when the last host in the chat room has decided to vacate the premises. If the last remaining host believes a host may be needed under mitigating circumstances, then an email or instant message to the owner must come prior. If the owner is not available, then NO hosting will be given under ANY circumstances.

Those who are selected to host the room must comply with several characteristics and courtesies expected of one who would be chosen to moderate activity. Without Diplomacy, rational thought, fair judgment, self control and the ability to maintain calm, becoming a host for a RP chat room is positively futile and pointless. These traits are expected of EVERY chosen host both Gold & Bronze. To deviate from this (No matter the circumstance) can and will lead to your removal from hosting duties.

Guests are permitted to remain in the room for a maximum of no longer than 10 minutes. As hosts, you are expected to monitor this time frame for each guest entering. The reason for this allowance is to be aware and attentive to the potential for increased membership. Some choose to observe prior to character creation and profiles. We will recognize these efforts and provide a window of observation for those electing to do so. After the ten minute period, a whisper will be provided by a host to inform them of the ten minutes we’ve allowed to observe and then ask them to return with a profile as guests are not favored permanently in our room. If the whispers are turned off, then a kick (with no time limit) will follow with a message indicating the same information and POLITE mannerisms.

You are expected to maintain a RP environment. This means that your attention to eradicating OOC commentary is of integral value. To do so when an OOC infraction occurs, a whisper or instant message is mandated (again, politely at first). A maximum of 2 warnings in whisper or instant message will be given. The first, as stated prior, jovial and polite. The second, a fraction more assertive by conviction. After the second, a 15 minute ban will be validated. Should the player return angered and intrusive instead of whispering to either apologize or discuss it, an hour ban is then warranted. At no time will you be expected to loose your self control. Yes, we are human but we are also maintaining a RP community for everyone else and not just ourselves. As hosts, we provide the decorum and peace.
