Devlin Vindictious had strode right in after Ramla.... He was only there to make sure everything would be signed for accordingly... But until monies were exchanged for the owner's creed, Ramla is still under his charge and tuteledge. He stood behind Ramla's chair, prefering to stand at the moment... One elegant hand would be laid upon the back of the chair, while the other strayed over to his hip to finger his whip that lay coiled by his side.... He had finished his drink moments before, flinging the empty silver chalice at a nearby kobold... He smiled indulgently behind the slave as he watched her perform her duties...

 

His autumnal hues gazed towards Mistress Synful and it would be then that he would grace her with a devil may care smile.... Yet it did not quite reach his eyes... With a honeyed barritone voice he said, "I would hope that the sale of this particular one will fill your coffers, Lady Synful... It would be a shame if it did not.... However, I think she has performed quite a service to you...." He did not say anymore... Though Ramla had done her deed, it was only by his words that he merely wished to fulfill the auction block... Her previous mistress from the theater had merely been a ruse.... Since Ramla was truely already bought and paid for quite some time as he started his administrations to teach the girl, before really selling her to another via the auction block.

 

He was barely surprised about her words regarding souls.... Yet his eyes would narrow a tad as he contemplated her words... He for one had not thought of it... Course... The dealings of the underwold was not something he engaged in.... But the underdark was another matter altogether... Yet he said nothing as they all waited for the new master to set his foot within the office.
