Alexander the Great, King of Macedon, is the most famous bearer of this name. In the 4th century BC he built a huge empire out of Greece, Egypt, Persia, and parts of India. This was also the name of emperors of Russia, kings of Scotland and Yugoslavia, and eight popes. Also, Sir Alexander MacKenzie was an explorer of the north and west of Canada in the 18th century. Like her fellow Avatars Zandra was rewarded with command over the War-Host (Warrior Angels), Gabriel commanded the Word-Host, Ariel was appointed command over the Faith-Host, The Morning Star received command over the Guardian-Host, he grew bored with his position, he rallied his angels under him and in his pride, The Morning Star began the first war in Heaven. Zandra along with Gabriel and Ariel did battle with The Morning Star’s former Guardian-Host. The Morning Star was defeated and he and his Guardian-Host were banished from Heaven after the last of the now fallen angels had been expelled Zandra turned over the command of the War-Host to her second in command the Arch-Angel Michael. Zandra spoke not a word as she left Heaven as she reached the Pearly Gates Gabriel barred her way, he asked why she stepped down as Commander of the War-Host and was leaving the Eternal City. She only looked him in the eye but gave no reply to his question and then left Heaven. |
