Hi,
It is a beautiful day here and my ducks, geese and one chicken are outside enjoying it. It is just after 4:30 pm here, so they will all go in soon. I have had a mink around recently so my son and I watch closely. We just got 16 new ducklings - hatched Wednesday at Ideal in Texas - and arrived in Vermont on Thursday! These are all pullets, since we are a bit overrun by drakes - 7 drakes to 9 females. Ten of the babies are Cayugas, 2 are Khaki Campbells, 2 are Blue Swedish, and 2 are Black Swedish. I attached a picture. I will be taking more - lots more!
Hope everyone is over the flu now. I (knock on wood) have not caught it yet!
