I've heard from John.  He's fine, he had a long uneventful plane ride.  He's settling in for a few days and then will head to Iraq.  I hate this!  Grrrr...the waiting around is insane!

Thanks you two!  He's leaving Kuwait today and is headed to Iraq.  He sends me e-mails regularly and calls when he can.  He said it's actually kind of fun there, believe it or not.  They have a KFC, Taco Bell, McDonalds, stuff like that.  He has his computer and I keep a couple hundred minutes on his calling card at all times.  I've got a big box full of stuff to send him and will probably send that tomorrow.  Thanks again you too.  I appreciate you both.

Thanks Caryn!  I will certainly tell him!  I went to the post office today to send John a care package and was talking to the postmaster about him.  A woman overheard us and offered to pay shipping for the box!  I told her thanks but it's okay and that I appreciated it.  She said no!  I appreciate his and your sacrifice for this country!  It had me crying all afternoon!  Thanks for your prayers!
