FALL FRIENDSHIP DETAILS 1.  Sign up begins today and ends 9/30. 2.  Table Runner Flimsy due to your partner by 11/10/08. 3.  Each partner responsible for final postage back to your Fall Friend.   MAKING YOUR FLIMSY 1.  A flimsy is a top and border only, each participant will finish their own top when it is returned to you.  Ideas include adding just a backing, a backing and binding or making another table runner in different fabric to make it reversible.   2.  When you mail your fabric to me, please specify if you would like your runner to include white or cream fabric as an accent.    3.  When you receive your partner's fabric, you will add two or more fabrics to coordinate with their fabric.  One must be your partner's choice of white or cream (can be tone on tone, solid, marble from your stash).  The other color(s) will be your choice of coordinating fabric.   4.  Make your choice of 3 - 12" blocks for the top.  They can be all the same block or any combination of blocks.  Add 1 1/2" sashing between each block.  Add 1 1/2" border around the entire table runner.   5. Take a photo and post in the special album WITHOUT YOUR NAME ON IT!  This will add to the suspense!!   6.  Mail the Table Runner top back (along with any left over fabric from the original 1/2 yard) to your Fall Friend and be sure it arrives by Nov. 10.....you are responsible for the postage as we have no way to determine how much it will cost until the project is done.   8.  Enclose a little note in the package to let your Fall Friend know who you are!! 7.  Update the Fall Friends list with the date you mail the package back and when your receive your package from your friend.  DON'T OPEN YOUR PACKAGE...WE WILL ALL DO IT AT THE SAME TIME (or as close as we can get it).  Once I know everyone has their package I will announce a time to open and we can post to the group at that time.    8.  Finish the runner for Thanksgiving!!    9.  E-mail me if you have any questions!!  [email protected]     Click to go to sign up page http://groups.msn.com/SassysSets
