I joined, and voted.  I have no clue why it shows as member   gypsy mignon, except I put mignon as my last name in redoing my email address.  I also never have opted to show my email address, but do not know if it is showing or not. 
 
I knew I had to take my time to do this, but, supposedly, I can change anything but my group ID, which is gypsyy..

I think it only shows up as 'gypsy mignon' in your view, not in everyone else's--unless you've elected to show everyone your last name and contact information and not just "contacts" or "network" or some such restriction. Maybe I'm wrong, but in my view, for everyone but me I only see your first name; but I see my entire name. I suspect the same will be true for you, that is, you'll see your full name and everyone else's first name only. Just a guess, though.
