Ceiling? or
a discard piece from "Skywalker Meets Travolta"?

i'm sorry --- but just for my info...
are those lines part of your poem?
or some sort of comment?
this is on a need to know basis.
need to know if those lines should be included on the page.
from what you say of - jennifer is it? - the lines could have significance for you.

thanks.
s.

global lantern

it was a paper world
that is all.
it fostered nothing but the suicide of bugs.
you told me that ........ so many times.

i only saw the glow
a lasting filament
geometry of sphere
knew if we would both blow hard
we could make it orbit anywhere.

you would not be convinced.
.......i wish you well............

there are cracks in the ceiling, like
a Fenton poem --
but in Paris all lights are on,
even in early afternoon.

with shades drawn,
we undress -
and caress each other
madly
madly in love
in Paris
somewhere between
the sheets and leaves
of the hibiscus flower
and the glass-stained, mahogany dresser.

I'll repost in another structure [sorry]  oh...no significance really, not anymore.

Jennifer & I did Paris --
two months in '92.

I Rue des Ecoles: Le Cardianal where
Roger liked Americans because they had
cash!

not us...
a limp Visa and some coins.

our room didn't have a ceiling

Arrggh Lucy! No! Typos Yes!  [ I = 1    anal = opps! ] Alas, late post. Shaky vision.
Thanks for the follow-up monitoring. Now I feel stupid in front of the class. Should I
stay after and dust erasers while you read over the good poems?
Nuts! Bloom had his Book of J...a strange search for a phantom authoress of Holy Writ.
Danny searched for Beatrice far too long....and P's scampering after Laura....? hmm.
This ragged post..ahh, from The poems of J.....no phantom, much too real....shit!
Makes me a lousy typist and a feeble poet. Oh well...some bad B movie once told me
"Memories are meant to fade. They're designed that way for a reason."
No hard luck here, though, as I look thru these windows onto the deck. Huh! She can sun all morning if she wants.....somehow typos are the last thing on my mind.

Talk later
Thanks
Landon

so.  still confused:

do you want the 1 to look like I?  or to typeset 1.

type of set important.  as e.e. and tolkien knew well, eraserhead.

keep yer eye on the ball - yer too easily distracted.

of course. the moon.
and the sun . quite eclipsed.
at quiet guard. not a mouse
stirring. but sick at heart.
The glowworm
his uneffectual fire and
the man on the moon
ask their way
to Norwich.

Oh no! Not again...................! If your replies weren't so damn funny....I would ignore you.
But, of course, I cannot...since I am overmatched and fear you.
Were Secretariat my donor, still I could not keep pace.
That said....and you seem bent to milk, here is my reply to the gallery proof, O squeezette.

Yes...insert....[oh, could I but play with that one] ...nonetheless, insert the "1"....remove " I "
One  One 1 1 1 1 ...like address..(sigh)...and stop laughing. Methinks you poke fun at this
piece. If this is true, in time I will forgive you.

Easily distracted? Trust me....it isn't easy!
Um...maybe you know too much. Ah, yes...that's why I fear you..
But, I'm too busy to read Freud. Anyway, he's dated...and the prom's over.
btw...ever return that gown?
btw2...cummings? Tolkien? ww--whaaat? I miss point. Duh. Enlighten.
Or does eraserhead dunce stay in corner where the view sucks...can't see teacher.
How boy learn?

i have it as Numero Uno, you know.  just wanted to be sure.  heh.

after all, a writer is entitled to have his/her work presented as written.

this was always a problem for e.e. cummings and J.R.R. Tolkien.
with cummings it was usually the typesetters driven crazy, but with Tolkienian linguistics, editors constantly made changes.  many corrected editions of his works followed -- and finally, he had to type them out himself.

susan
p.s. stay in your corner.  down boy.

Incandescence from a paper globe
succumbs to jealous shadows crept
from corners to smother brilliance
of their cousin,
tricks of physics
the only code of rooms surrendered
to slow darkness as gendarmes below
in fiercer glow stroll city boulevards.
