I removed all the pics I had in my album, with the intention of replacing them with a complete new batch. However...it seems no pics = 2/3 of my available space. Questions...are the pics used on the message board included ? I do not have pics in any other groups...that I know of...is there a way to find them, even if I am no longer a member? Is there some type of delay, so that questionable content can be properly scrutinized by MSN as a crime deterrent? I'm determined to use macpics as an active medium to show artwork, etc... mac |

How many pictures can an album have? | There is no limit to the number of photos an album can contain. However, each Microsoft .NET Passport (An online service that makes it possible for you to use your e-mail address and a single password to sign in to any Passport-participating Web site or service.) account is limited to a specific amount of file storage (A quantity of space on the MSN servers reserved for saving your files, photos, documents, and messages. Storage is expressed in megabytes (MB).) space in MSN Groups. If you have reached your storage limit and can no longer upload (To copy programs or other files from your computer to a location on the Internet.) photos, you can create some available space in your account by deleting some of your other content; or, you may be eligible to purchase additional storage space from MSN. Delete photos, files, and attachments to free up storage space | - Go to the My Storage Info page.
To get there | - In the left pane, click Manager Tools or Member Tools. (If the page you are currently on has no left pane, click Back until you reach a page that does.)
- Click Manage Your Storage Space.
| - Under File Deletion Tool, click the group you want from the drop-down list. (You may have to scroll down to see the File Deletion tool.)
- Click the tab for the type of files you want to delete: My Documents, My Pictures, or My Attachments.
- Select the check boxes next to the items you want to delete, click the Delete Selected heading, and then click OK.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 to delete other items and free up more of your allotted storage (A quantity of space on the MSN servers reserved for saving your files, photos, documents, and messages. Storage is expressed in megabytes (MB).) space.
Tip You can determine how much of your allotted storage space you have used by viewing the Storage Space Gauge above the File Deletion Tool on the My Storage Info page. mac - since you joined ZeD, they give you tons & tons of Free Storage Space. susan p.s. on MSN, make sure you delete from your My Storage Information. |

Ah...here's the problem...attachments to messages count against limits. Just as I thought....I'll have to eventually delete all the pics associated with posts. Once the post fades into the relative obscurity of last month... time to delete. |

A Message Worth Repeating: there is a little Help area on your screen (top right) above your Welcome (name, status in group), click on that anytime you have a problem. if the answer is not there after you've searched, this way, i don't have to explain for you & you alone. see the message/subject: pics ____________________ | | Inserting Pictures into the Message Reply Forms | | in the reply form, there is a small icon (among others) on the tool bar. you will see it under Font Style, and lodged between the Table icon & the A (which is for Font color). click on that. you can have a web page dialog all by yourself. isn't that exciting. follow the instructions, they are simple enough. why, even i learned. s. | | |
