Part of a series using highlights from the film "Bladerunner"

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shores of Orion.
I watched seabeams glittering darkly at the Tannhauser Gates.
All those moments are lost in time like tears in rain."

Pigeon flutters up to light with Batty's soul.

And Deckard knew, inside his constructed brain,
Bladerunner, Nexus 7, bled,
And red blood coloured the sluicing rain,
Without knowledge,
date of incept.
The old Bladerunner was truly dead.
He was as much a slave as Batty ever was.
Somewhere, Deckard hoped, Rachel slept,
The unicorn's wisdom within her cool and sane.

"Enjoy it while you can!"

Was ever said to slaves,
Who, tomorrow, morn or night,
Might die in rain, and lose their sight
Genetically engineered by masters
Unconcerned for slaves souls' plight,
More human than human.

 (All quotations highlighted in blue)

( soundfile: the above piece.
   Roy Batty dead.)

If you know the ancient tongues of Britain, Susan, my real name translates as 'place of stones'. How I came by such a name I never bothered to ask my parents.

Below is the same name using runic equivalents for the alphabet.

Thanks Susan, Melissa, and Graymatter.

Susan... yes, I AM still standing, henging about! Graymatter: I do have the DVD version of the Director's cut. There are also sites on the WEB where you can download avi.extracts and stills, with MP3 music and wav. files.
